Catholic Chaplain
I was born in Guildford, and have a background in music and research, bridging arts and sciences. As organist of St. Dominic's Priory in London, I felt God calling to me the Dominican Order (Friars Preachers), and after two years studying in France I have just arrived at St. Dominic's Priory in New Bridge Street (between Northumbria University and the Ouseburn Valley arts quarter).
I am really looking forward to to starting as Catholic Chaplain, and am enjoying the friendliness and culture of Newcastle. My great passion is preaching God's transforming love through creating spiritual art and social projects: I founded and direct the Cosmos dance project.
I see chaplaincy as three things:
- a place of welcome, community and prayer;
- a place to connect faith in Christ with our life, our gifts and our studies;
- a place from which we go out to bring light and hope to our world.
