Maths-Aid exists to help students with their mathematical and statistical problems.
We are happy for members of staff to refer a student to us for further help. This does not have to be as a part of their course but purely to supplement the student’s other methods of study. We are not designed to replace any current systems of support, but to offer an extra dimension where needed.
It is possible for us to arrange special sessions as required, offering more specific support and advice. We may also liaise with lecturers to ensure that the help we give is relevant, appropriate and, above all, effective.
We are also happy to provide material to lecturers and module leaders to help with the teaching of mathematics and statistics in their courses.
We welcome enquires and feedback from all module leaders and programme directors. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any requests and feedback that you may have.
