Students' Union

Your Students' Union is the social hub of the University. You are automatically a member whilst a student at Newcastle Uni, and this free membership offers a range of opportunities to get more out of your time at University, as well as offering a place to get some food or grab a drink!

Whether it's:

  • sports clubs or societies
  • writing for the student newspaper
  • broadcasting on the radio
  • representing your course or halls as a student rep
  • getting advice on any aspect of student life
  • volunteering in the community
  • trying out a range of activities through Give it a Go

the Union is the centre of student life on campus.

It's run entirely by elected students and represents the views of students to the University and beyond - it’s your Union, so get involved!
