  • TARGETjobs: Undergraduate of the Year - annual competition to win a paid internship with leading employers, trips abroad, and the chance to be recognised as the very best.Closed in January 2017.

  • KPMG International Case competition - opportunity for you and three teammates to work on tough business problems. It could give you a chance to experience the fast-paced world of casework, meet new people and travel to places you may never have been before.
  • efinancial careers: banking and finance competitions - an article detailing seven competitions from organisations such as BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse and KPMG. Check the eligibility criteria: some are open to all students, some are group competitions and some only apply to students in certain countries. They offer a range of prizes, including money, a holiday and a paid internship.
  • Universities Business Challenge - offers undergraduates the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the business world, put theory into practice and develop team-working, leadership and employability skills. Students work in teams as management consultants in a series of realistic, simulated companies, making all the critical business decisions that affect the company's performance. First prize is £1000. Opens in April.
  • AXA Great Global Adventure - win an all-expenses paid round the world trip for up to 1 year, which includes travel and paid work experience at two of AXA’s offices worldwide.
  • Global Investment Banking Valuation Olympiad - annual investment banking competition. The leader of the winning team receives a one-month paid internship as well as a cash prize for the winning team.
  • Project Firefly: Competitions - opportunity to win cash prizes and internships in business and finance-related competitions, sponsored by Credit Suisse.
  • Xperience North Highland - annual student consulting challenge from global consulting company, North Highland. The selection process runs from September - October each year, with teams from 7 selected universities across the country. You'll be guided and mentored by North Highland's experienced analysts and consultants and get the chance to develop your business acumen, get an insight into consulting and win prizes.
  • Net Lawman Scholarship Programme - scholarship awards to help full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students with the cost of starting a business, whether investment in IT, stationery, business administration or learning tools. Closing date for applications is 31 December 2017.
  • Xero Entrepreneur Scholarship 2017 - £2,000 grant and mentoring to support budding entrepreneurs. You must be a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student in the UK. Deadline for applications is 30 June 2017.
