Celebrating Research Scholarships and Expeditions 2017

Celebrating Research Scholarships and Expeditions 2017 is a presentation and celebration of the summer project work of undergraduate students, taking place on Wednesday 29th November 2017. The students have carried out projects funded through the Research Scholarships Scheme or the University Expeditions Committee.

The presentations will be held from 4.30 p.m. in the Lindisfarne Room, Hadrian Building, starting with a display of posters demonstrating the breadth of research projects undertaken. The event also provides an opportunity to speak to the students who have carried out the research. Refreshments will be served.

This will be followed at 5:30 p.m. by five brief presentations from selected research scholarship and expedition students, describing how they conducted their research and key outcomes. At the conclusion of the presentations, the best poster projects will be announced and awards made by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) to the successful students. The evening will conclude with a reception and supper at 7.30 p.m. in the Lindisfarne Room.

Further information can be provided nearer the event and when the promotional brochure will be available.
