Examinations
The Examinations Office manages the University's examination processes. We compile and publish the examination timetables, train and appoint invigilators, produce undergraduate pass lists and student results and are responsible for the administration of examination papers.
We also provide support for examination candidates with alternative arrangements and provide guidance to schools regarding Boards of Examiners and the maintenance of assessment records.
Awards including Congregations
The term congregation means, a gathering of members of the University. At the congregation a presiding officer will acknowledge the achievements of graduates.
The Awards Office is responsible for the organisation of these ceremonies at Newcastle University. Congregation is the culmination of all your hard work during your time at Newcastle University and we are keen to make the day special.
