This area demonstrates the Code of Practice in action: activities from your Induction to your examination. You’ll find an explanation of what you must do to ensure that your candidature is confirmed at the end of your first year of research: sign a Learning Agreement, submit a Research Project Proposal, gain ethical approval if required, and undergo an Annual Progress Review. You’ll also find information on the Training Programmes offered by each Faculty, how to inform us of a change to your Supervisory Team, and the ongoing monitoring of your progress throughout your studies.
Here you’ll find information about interrupting your studies, transferring your candidature, applying to undertake study outside of the University, or extending your thesis submission deadline.
This page describes the examination process in detail from start to finish. All students due to submit are strongly encouraged to read the information provided here.
