Single Equality Scheme

Purpose

The aim of the policy is to ensure that no applicant or student, should receive less favourable treatment on any grounds which are not relevant to academic ability, potential and attainment.

Grounds

A complaint can be made where a student believes he/she has been discriminated against on the grounds of race, ethnic origin, sex, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, religion or belief, disability, age or political belief.

Process

Students must follow the student complaints procedure.
