Please note that visa drop-in sessions are for complex and personal visa queries only. Remember also that the information you require may be available on our web pages. To avoid an unnecessary wait, why not take a look around our web pages by using the side bar menus on the left of this page where you may well find the information you require.
Our drop-in sessions are on Level 2, King's Gate at the following times:
Monday 1-3:00pm
Tuesday 1-3:00pm
Thursday 1-3:00pm
Friday 10-11.30am

*Please note, we do not check documents or forms relating to these applications or offer advice on individual cases at drop-in sessions. Please also look out for special Schengen workshops, and workshops run in conjunction with the Careers Service.
• Drop-in slots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis however allocation of places will not take place until 10am or 1pm depending on the start time, so please do not arrive any earlier than this. Students will be seen in strict numerical order. Please listen out for your number. If you miss your turn, you will miss your opportunity to see an adviser on that occasion.
• At times, it may be necessary to wait for an adviser to become available. Due to the varying nature of queries arising from individual students, advisers/receptionists are unable to predict how long you might have to wait.
• The Visa Team does not check Tier 4, PBS dependant or Tier 1/Tier 2 applications or any documents relating to such applications at drop-in sessions. If you wish to have your Tier 4/PBS dependant application checked, please click here for details of this service.

• The Visa Team reserves the right to limit the number of students seen at each drop-in session. The Visa Team may also find it necessary to curtail/ cancel sessions at short notice during staff holidays/sickness or at times when demand for other visa services is high.
