Dr Caroline Crow

Caroline joined the Writing Development Centre as a part-time academic writing tutor in 2010. In January 2014, she was appointed to the post of Teaching Fellow (part-time). In addition to her role at the Centre, she works as a tutor in the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics, leading seminars for undergraduate students in English Literature. Caroline also contributes to the PARTNERS Programme Summer School, devising and teaching sessions on approaches to studying and writing about drama.

Caroline has a PhD on the impact of the Reformation on the representation of the supernatural, death and commemorative culture in Elizabethan tragic drama (1558 – 1603). She holds a degree in English Studies from the University of Sunderland and an MA in English Literary Studies from the University of Durham.
