Student Parent Event

Are you unsure about your rights and responsibilities as a student parent or are you about to become a parent and are concerned as to how this will affect your future at the University?

Are you a prospective student and would like to know more about the University's provision and support services for student parents? Then this event is for you!

If you are combining your studies with the care of a child, you may sometimes find yourself needing information or support to help you stay organised and to help you balance your parental responsibilities with your studies.

We would like to invite you to attend our Student Parent event where we hope to help alleviate some of your concerns.

Student Parent Event
Thursday 17th September 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Room L1.26, King’s Gate

The event will give you the opportunity to:

  • Meet other people with similar concerns
  • Meet current student parents who will share their experiences
  • Listen to a variety of information sessions including: Financial Support, Student Advice Centre, Newcastle Family Information Service and more
