Admissions Policies and Procedures

During the application process a disabled person may request an adjustment to some aspect of the student experience in order to make it accessible. Following the admissions process, staff may also receive a declaration of disability or request for an adjustment at any stage of the student life cycle.

To assist those staff working with disabled applicants and students in this decision making process, Disability Support have worked with staff from across the University to develop policy, procedures and good practice guides.

The information below is provided to follow the admissions procedure, although you may find it useful at other times when working with disabled students.
