Introduction

Background

My original background and training was in teaching. I have worked at Newcastle University in the Counselling Team for eleven years.

Roles and Responsibilities

The main part of my work is seeing students for individual counselling. I have also worked with groups offering basic counselling skills and confidence building. I
co-work with a colleague running a support group for personal tutors.

I have been involved in the wider development work of the team, including delivering workshops and organising day conferences.
