Role and Responsibilities

I joined the Student Wellbeing Service in November 2015 as a Clerical Assistant.  My main responsibility is allocating first ongoing therapy appointments and managing the therapy waiting list for face to face appointments, and I liaise with students via email or the telephone to arrange these appointments.  I manage the therapists’ diaries on a daily basis in regards to the first ongoing therapy appointments and I book all rooms for the appointments.  Additionally I am involved with helping to review and implement the Student Wellbeing publicity brochure, assisting the Disability Team with the admissions process, and providing administrative cover for the UCAN team when required.

BA (Hons) English Literature: 2:1 – Northumbria University

MA Media and Journalism: Distinction – Newcastle University
