Make sure you have applied for 2013/14 student finance.
If you’ve got a place at university or college through the Clearing process and haven’t applied for student finance you need to apply right away. Apply now by logging into your online account at www.gov.uk/studentfinance If you’ve already applied for student finance but your course or university have changed through Clearing you’ll need to change your student finance application. You can do this online: My Account >Make changes to my 13/14 application>Change your course.
If your 13/14 student finance has been assessed ensure you have signed and retuned your declaration.
Want to avoid running out of money next year? Spend some time over the summer planning a budget for 2013/14. Not sure where to start? Try prioritising your spend - make two lists 'have to buy' and 'choose to buy' to help with this or keep track of your daily purchases for a week or two.
