How to Apply
To make an application to the Financial Assistance Fund (FAF) you must read the guidance notes provided below and then complete the application form in full.

Application forms can also be obtained from Student Services Reception, Level 2 King's Gate.
Submitting your application form
To submit an FAF application form you must schedule an appointment to meet with a member of the Student Financial Support Team so that they can check through your fully completed application form and supporting documentation. This meeting will last approximately 30 minutes.
To arrange an appointment you must telephone 0191 208 3760 or 0191 222 5679 between the hours of 9.00am and 4.45pm. You must bring the requested supporting documentation when you attend your appointment. If your application form has not been fully completed or there are any supporting documents missing you will be asked to take your form away to finalise and you will need to arrange another appointment.

If you need help completing your application form you should contact the Student Finance Adviser to make an appointment. Alternatively, you can attend the Student Finance Adviser drop-in sessions:
When: every Wednesday or Thursday 2.00 - 4.00pm
Where: King's Gate (report to the Student Services Reception, Level 2)
