University Scholarships for international students

Newcastle University offers a large number of partial scholarships to international students. All international postgraduate students who are offered a place to study at Newcastle are eligible to apply for at least one of our University scholarships.

All international undergraduate students who select Newcastle University as their firm choice with UCAS will be automatically considered for a partial scholarship. Read further about the range of scholarships we can offer:

For EU students

Because of European Union agreements, many sources of postgraduate funding are available for EU students, as well as UK students. Use our Gradfund database to find out what kind of funding you may be eligible for.

Additional funding

Many of our schools offer partial scholarships and bursaries. Please contact the academic school where your degree is based for further details. It may also be possible to get postgraduate funding from other sources outside the University.
