US Friends of Newcastle Scholarship

The US Friends of Newcastle Scholarship is offered, through competitive application, to US students undertaking any of the University’s four Study Abroad strands, these include: Pre-medical; Arts and Social Sciences; Agriculture and Engineering; Business and Finance or any of the University’s undergraduate degree programmes

The Scholarship is offered for one year and is worth $2000 and will be payable towards living expenses.

How to apply

Please complete the application form electronically and in accordance with The Study Abroad Scholarship regulations.

The deadline for applicants is Friday, 4th November 2016.

Napolitano Scholarship

The purpose of the scholarship is to promote Anglo-American Relations. It is offered to one student currently studying in the United States, who wishes to undertake any of the University’s five study abroad strands including Pre-Medical, Arts and Humanities, Science, Agriculture and Engineering; Business and Finance; Psychology and Biomedical Sciences.

The scholarship is offered for one year and worth £3,000 or £1,500 for students who are studying at Newcastle University for one semester only. The scholarship will be payable towards living expenses.

The deadline for 2016/17 awards has now passed - 2017/18 entry details will be available on this page in October 2016.

Canadian Gateway to Newcastle Scholarship

The Canadian Gateway to Newcastle Scholarships are offered each year through competitive application, to Canadian students undertaking any of the University’s undergraduate programmes or five study abroad strands including Pre-Medical, Arts and Humanities, Science, Agriculture and Engineering; Business and Finance; Psychology and Biomedical Sciences.

Each Scholarship is offered for a semester and is worth £1,500 and will be payable towards living expenses.
