Awarded to new entrants on BSc, BEng and MEng programmes wholly within the School (excluding Physical Geography) with a value of £2000 or £1000 per year for up to four years.

The overseas scholarship will be used each year to reduce the University fees which are payable on registration. This scholarship is not available to those applicants applying for the Foundation year or who are fully sponsored by a company or government.

These will be awarded to the most highly qualified students entering Stage 1 based on entry A-level results scores or equivalent entry qualifications. The scholarships are a value of £1000 and will be paid in a single instalment in December of the year of entry.

The Stephenson Engineering Scholarship is aimed at talented overseas undergraduate students, already awarded the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships (IUMS). The Stephenson Engineering Scholarships are for second and subsequent years of study.
International students may be eligible to apply to be an International Ambassador and receive up to £3,000 (£1,000 per year of study) towards tuition fees. For further details, please see:
