Rates below are for UK students who commenced studies in 2012, who have a household income figure at or below £42,600 and who meet one of the additional eligibility criteria.

If you are due to receive an Access Scholarship in 2012/13, you will be paid in the following three instalments:
£400 – 12th December 2012
£300 – 20th February 2013
£300 – 17th April 2013
There will be no exceptions to these payment dates except under the specific situation outlined below. Students who apply after 28th November 2012, or where your assessing authority provides details after that date, will receive any back dated payments 10 working days after approval.
Your tuition fee loan will automatically be reduced for you. You do not need to take any action to make this change. You should receive updated student finance documentation from Student Finance England (or equivalent) within 4 weeks of your scholarship being awarded. The documentation will state that your tuition fee loan has been reduced.
