British Medical and Dental Students Trust makes awards of between £500 and £1000 to successful applicants.

Medical Women's Federation - oversee a variety of grants and prizes throughout the year to assist qualified Doctors or women studying towards a medical degree leading to GMC registration as a doctor.

Roger and Miriam Pilkington Charitable Trust: grants are given to 'enterprising' people aged 18 to 25, particularly those who are undertaking imaginative projects abroad which could be said to broaden horizons, giving them experiences which they may not otherwise have; increase awareness of of other cultures and ways of living; or help them understand something of social problems outside their immediate environment.
