Interim Reports

Leaders of expeditions endorsed and/or funded by the University should submit an interim report as soon as possible after completion of the field work and normally not later than 31 October in the year of the expedition.

Interim reports, which need not exceed five typed pages of text, should contain information under the following headings.

  • Expedition name.

  • Report author(s) and contact details - addresses, e-mail, telephone number (with dates if necessary).

  • A re-statement of the expedition's original objectives.

  • Statement of all results obtained and/or conclusions drawn under each objective. If the work under any objective was not completed by the end of the expedition, please give an explanation.

  • Details of any additional objectives and any relevant results obtained.

  • Comments on any changes in project personnel, and any other important logistic details.

  • List of sponsors with the amounts donated by each, and an account of all expenditure.

  • An indication of the date by which the final report will be produced.
