Can't Work but Want to Work

Facilitator: Rob Bedford

This group welcomes students who are stuck with part or all of their work. Taking a solution focused approach it will enable group members to explore ways forward, identifying what works as opposed to what does not. Rather than looking at study skills, the group aims to promote an understanding of such things as procrastination and work block.

Time: Wednesdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

Re-Route Your Mood – how to manage low mood & sleep problems

Facilitators: Michelle Bowen, Lindsay Graham & Alex Aspinall

Feeling down, irritable, having sleep problems, lost motivation or concentration? Then this course should benefit you; helping you find the answers to common questions about low mood & depression. The aims are to help you identify typical symptoms, establish what is problematic and what your current coping strategies are. We can then work out if they are helpful or unhelpful. If unhelpful, we can consider ways to help you begin to ‘re-route’ your mood by finding more helpful alternatives.

Time: Thursdays, 1.30 - 4pm (breaks included), starting 9th May 2013 for 4 weeks
