Student Wellbeing Advisers
Student Wellbeing Advisers offer a number of options to support students.
Group Work
Group work can be offered upon request from schools on a range of subjects relating to general wellbeing and mental health. Topics include:
- beating exam stress
- relaxation
- overcoming work block
Life Skills
A wide range of groups and workshops can be offered upon request from schools on a range of topics such as:
- anxiety management
- beating exam stress
- money management
- motivation and confidence
- procrastination.
Individual sessions can also be arranged.
Events and Training
The Events and Data Coordinator organises our annual events such as:
- Register with a GP Event
- Meningitis Campaign
- Mature Student Orientation Programme
- University and School Open and Visit Days
- Contributing to student inductions at school and faculty level
- Coordinating service training sessions across the University
- Taking the lead in managing our procedures, evaluation and other Student Wellbeing processes
- Other major events and awareness raising campaigns
