Newcastle University wants to hear from its students about their experience and to work in partnership with you to improve the student experience by listening to your concerns and taking action. There are many ways we listen to students:
The year-on-year results of the National Student Survey, now going into its 9th year, have shown that students rate our library and IT services very highly. The improvements we have made to our teaching and to our assessment feedback, have made students increasingly satisfied with their experience here.
The University continues to address those areas where students would like to see changes, working with the Students' Union and with individual Schools and subject areas.
The Students' Union is committed to ensuring that every student has an input into their own experience at Newcastle University, ensuring their time here is as rewarding as possible. Giving and receiving feedback is a key element of this; and these ‘You Said, We Did’ web pages have been set up so that students can see the changes that have been made in response to their opinion. We hope that, by communicating with our students in this way, you will be motivated to provide further feedback. The Students' Union is excited to be overseeing implementation of the new student representation system, which will allow the student voice to be heard at all levels of both the University and the Students' Union.
