Environment Awards - Celebrating Success!

Each year the achievements of staff and students towards embedding sustainability across the campus are celebrated in an annual awards ceremony, hosted by the Vice Chancellor.

Last year the awards ceremony was held the Monday after World Environment Day- 6th June 2016.

This was the fifth year of implementing the Green Impact initiative at Newcastle University. The awards celebrate the staff involved that have shown continued enthusiasm and support towards their colleagues to champion environmental issues at a local level and embed sustainable behaviours across campus.
