TORG are providing a range of research and evaluation tasks to the YORCARD consortium which is providing a large-scale pilot of integrated public transport and rail smartcards and citizen cards for West and South Yorkshire. This includes pre-installation serveys of operation, post implementation surveys, focus groups and engagement with many stakeholders and ultimately the development of a business case for the future investment in a Yorkshire-wide smartcard. TORG undertake the research task as a sub-contractor to Scheidt & Bachmann Gmbh.
