Most private sector rents are exclusive of electric, gas, internet, personal possessions insurance or water charges. If let via agencies they will incur an administration fee at point of sign up. Flats and houses let via Newcastle University's NUstudenthomes scheme, include personal possessions insurance and water charges (unless metered) and no administration charge is payable. Typical rents range from £2,856 - £4,419 based on 52 week contracts, furnished, usually excludes all extras.
