At Newcastle we guarantee you a place in University accommodation for the first year, providing you meet certain criteria and apply by 30 June in your year of entry.

Accommodation costs explained

We have over 3800 University bed spaces for our undergraduate students at a range of sites. Prices range from £2,899 - £4,569* based on 38-43 week contracts and are furnished. These costs also include heating, lighting, internet and insurance.

Affordable and near campus

Most of our accommodation sites are within 10 minutes' walk of campus and the city centre.

We offer both catered and self-catered accommodation. We have accommodation where study bedrooms are arranged on corridors with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities as well as a number of purpose-built flats for between three and seven students.
