One of the reasons Newcastle graduates are so successful is due to the practical career support and guidance they receive while they’re here - and for up to three years after graduation.
Our award-winning Careers Service is one of the largest and best higher education careers services in the country. It was rated 12th out of 163 universities world-wide in the annual International Student Barometer survey 2011.
The Careers Service is based in King's Gate student services building in the heart of campus. It is open every week day and you can get help and advice without the need for an appointment.
The Careers Service also works with academic Schools across the University. Each School has its own dedicated careers advisor who has expertise in the careers associated with your chosen subject. Find out more about the careers services available to all Newcastle students and graduates:
