Graduate employability

The latest available data from the Destination of Leavers of Higher Education Survey 2014/15 shows:

  • 94% of our 2015 UK-domiciled graduates progressed to employment or further study within six months of graduating
  • more than three quarters (81%) of our graduates who entered employment achieved a professional or managerial position

The Times/Sunday Times University Guide 2017 have given us a Graduate Prospects score of 82.6 per cent. This is the proportion of graduates in work or further study who are in professional jobs or graduate level study.

We have well-established links with some of the biggest graduate recruiters and are one of the top 20 universities targeted by The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers for the last five years (The Graduate Market in 2012-2016 report - High Fliers Research). Our students also benefit from the opportunity to add a year-long work placement to their degree.
