We work closely with employers to make sure that our degrees reflect the skills that they are looking for in their graduate recruits. The wide range of ways in which we develop the employability of our students has been specially commended by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
Almost half of our degrees are accredited by professional organisations, providing industry-wide recognition of the quality of your qualification. Depending on the accrediting body and your chosen career, this may mean that you are exempt from some professional exams or further academic study after graduation.
See our degree listings for specific accreditations for the degree(s) you are interested in.
Many of our degrees include industry-based assignments, study trips to local businesses, case-study analyses and work placements.
A number of our programmes incorporate the Careers Service’s accredited Career Development Module. This allows you to undertake work experience, volunteering, or paid work as part of your degree.
