This course focuses on the biology and natural history of marine organisms, from single cells to the complex social interactions of populations.

You study the biochemical and biophysical interactions within a diverse range of marine environments that are so important for determining and maintaining basic life processes.

You also study the evolution, physiology and behaviour of key species and groups. 

Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
