This degree is an ideal launchpad for the future rural entrepreneur or for anyone whose interest in the countryside centres around the social, economic and political systems that we use to manage the environment and support rural communities.
The course focuses on an integrated social science approach to rural development and resource management, supplemented by a range of specialist modules in business management, social geography, farm management and marketing.
Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
