This degree provides a modern introduction to mathematical biology.
It combines the study of mathematics and statistics with the skills and knowledge you will need to understand their application in a range of biological fields, including genetics, ecology and bioinformatics.
You spend two thirds of your time studying mathematics and statistics modules from our BSc Mathematics degree programme, and one third studying related biology modules.
Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
