This degree provides a modern introduction to financial mathematics and accounting, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to apply mathematics and statistics in the business world, and to work in banking and finance.
You spend two thirds of your time on financial mathematics, mathematics and statistics, and one third on accountancy.
You choose modules in mathematics and statistics at each Stage from the same list of modules available to BSc Mathematics and Statistics students, although you are directed towards modules with financial, commercial or managerial applications.
Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
