The development of the Internet, mobile telephones and dedicated high-speed data networks has fuelled a growth in international commerce and home-based shopping, as well as making information and entertainment resources readily available from the other side of the globe.
This exciting degree has been designed to focus on this growth in electronic communications and the demand for people with appropriate skills to work in this field.
An important part of the MEng programme is taking part in industrial or research activity, either in the UK or abroad. You spend three months working, under guidance, as a junior engineer in a real commercial environment.
Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
