+ A Levels

AAA including grade A in Mathematics and excluding General Studies.

+ International Baccalaureate

A minimum of 37 points with Mathematics grade 6 or above at Higher Level.

+ Scottish Qualifications

AAA at Advanced Higher Grade including grade A in Mathematics.

+ Irish Leaving Certificate

A1A1A1AB at Higher Level, to include grade A in Mathematics.

+ Access Qualifications

At least 45 level 3 credits at Distinction including Mathematical Studies. A Newcastle University Mathematics and Statistics pre-entry course may also be required.

+ BTEC Level 5 HND

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

+ BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (formerly BTEC National Diploma)

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

+ Cambridge Pre-U

D3,D3,D3 in Principal Subjects including grade D3 in Mathematics.

+ PARTNERS - A Levels

ABB including Mathematics.

If you have shown that you have the ability but do not possess the necessary qualifications for direct entry into Stage 1, you may consider taking a foundation year:
