A minimum of 35 points preferably with Grade 6 or above in History at Higher Level.

Units in at least one of: British Politics, Geography, Sociology and Philosophy. At least 30 level 3 credits at Distinction, including one of the subjects listed above, and in addition 15 level 3 credits at a minimum of Merit. In addition, a Distinction in Historical Studies is required.
