Scholarship Award Exclusions

There are a number of categories of students who are not eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship:

  • If you are studying for one of the following degrees you will not receive a scholarship for those years for which your tuition fees will be funded by the NHS: the four-year Speech and Language Science degree; and the fifth year of the five-year Medicine or Dentistry programmes
  • If you are studying the four-year accelerated Medicine course for graduates or the 27 month Dental Hygiene and Therapy diploma you will not be eligible for a scholarship throughout your course
