Under current arrangements* UK students will not have to pay any tuition fees for Speech and Language Sciences BSc Honours because it is funded by the NHS. Eligible students will receive a £1,000 grant per year. They will also be able to apply for an additional means-tested bursary of up to £4,395 per year.

For most of our degrees with placement years including full-year Erasmus placements, you will pay just £1,000 fee for that year, because we provide an £8,000 fee discount.
Some of our four-year Masters’ degrees include a placement year (either in industry or at a university abroad) which counts as a fully-assessed part of the degree programme. Students studying on these degrees will be awarded a Placement Scholarship (as a fee discount).

If you are a deferred entry student, you will be liable for the tuition fee (and eligible for the scholarship schemes) applicable for the year in which you start university.
