You don't need to apply for this scholarship. We will award it automatically to eligible students who have been income assessed by Student Finance England or an equivalent assessing body.
If you're studying on a course that includes a compulsory year abroad or placement year, you will receive a fee discount of £8,000. You will not be entitled to an Opportunity Scholarship for that year.
If you're studying for one of the following degrees you will not receive a scholarship for the years for which the NHS fund your tuition fees:
- 4 year Speech and Language Science degree
- 5 year Medicine or Dentistry degrees
If you're studying for one of the following degrees you are not eligible for a scholarship for any part of your course:
- 4 year accelerated Medicine course
- 27 month Dental Hygiene and Therapy diploma
