Faith and Religion at Newcastle University

Chaplains of diverse faiths are based in the University Chaplaincy. They can offer support and advice to students of all faiths and none; they also have links with many of the city’s major faith communities.

The Chaplaincy organises regular worship services (currently Buddhist, Christian and Muslim), socials, discussions and talks from its base on campus.

There are several prayer rooms on campus which are open to all students and staff. This includes:

  • multi-faith prayer room in the University Chaplaincy
