Student Advice Centre

The Student Advice Centre is a professional service provided by Newcastle University Students’ Union.

It is staffed by experienced advisers who can provide free, confidential advice on a wide range of topics including:

  • housing
  • academic
  • finance
  • legal information
  • personal/family
  • consumer and employment issues

You can:

  • drop-in for a free and confidential discussion with an adviser
  • book an appointment to suit you
  • visit weekly clinics including police and safety clinics

If you prefer to speak to a fellow student, Nightline is a confidential listening and information telephone service run by student volunteers. It offers a point of contact through the night and early hours of the morning.
