Freshers' Week
Freshers' Week is our welcome event for all new students, which is run by Newcastle University Students' Union's events crew.
Over 350 student volunteers are involved in supporting this six-day welcome event which is designed to help you settle in, meet new friends and get to know the city through a huge range of organised activities and trips.
We have a reputation for hosting one of the best Freshers’ Weeks in the country, with a variety of daytime activities and night-time events showcasing the very best of what Newcastle has to offer.
