Choosing Newcastle

I chose Newcastle because of its reputation and esteemed lecturers. The city itself is also incredible and I felt at home instantly.

Best thing about your course

What I like most about Psychology at Newcastle is the diversity of the modules, the status of the lecturers in their respective fields and the fact that the school cares about its students.

Recommending Newcastle

The community is really friendly, the city is diverse with plenty to do and the Students Union is really excellent, offering many services and focusing on student representation to make sure everyone has their voice heard.

Describing Newcastle

Newcastle is a friendly, vibrant, safe and usually sunny place. It’s a second home for me.

 Clubs and societies at Newcastle

There’s a huge range of clubs and societies to join, both for hobbies and for courses. For example on PsychoSoc we went on trips abroad, days out, socials and meals as well as the end of year ball. It’s the perfect way to meet new people!

Living in Newcastle

I live in the city centre, just five minutes from town and ten from campus. Choosing the right letting agent was the hardest, after that finding a place to live was easy.
