Campus and Facilities Tours
Running from 9.30 - 3.30
Our student-led tours give you the opportunity to explore the campus and University first hand.
- Tickets: collect tickets for campus tours from the Campus Tours Marquee (Google Maps)
- Departure point: tours will leave from the signed departure point next to Campus Tours Marquee.
- Times: every 15 minutes.
- Length of tour: about 45 minutes.
+Students’ Union tours
Running from 9.30 - 3.30
Don’t miss the opportunity to see our fantastic Students’ Union, following an £8 million refurbishment in 2011.
Drop in to look around during the day or you can attend an organised Students’ Union Tour:
- Departure point: Students’ Union Building Reception, at the top of the stairs.
- Times: approx. every 30 minutes.
- Duration: about 30 minutes.
- Location: Students' Union (Google Maps)

+Language Resource Centre drop-in
Open from 9.30 - 3.30
You can use our award-winning Language Resource Centre to learn a language in your own time, or to support study as part of your degree.
The Centre also has a podcast site and operates a massive virtual library for language learning.
- Departure point: Students’ Union Building Reception, at the top of the stairs.
- Times: approx. every 30 minutes.
- Duration: about 30 minutes.

+University libraries drop-in
Open from 9 - 4
Staff and students will be available in the foyer of our main library, the Robinson Library, (Google Maps) all Visit Day.
They will be happy to explain the Library’s services, show you around - or you can look round yourself if you prefer.
You can also drop in to:
- the Walton Library (Google Maps) in the Medical School
- or the Law Library (Google Maps) in the Law School.
+Sports Centre tours
Open from 10.15 - 3.30
Staff and students will be available in the Sport Centre foyer. They'll be happy to show you around our outstanding facillities.
- Departure point: Sports Centre foyer (Google Maps).
- Times: From 10.15am then every 30 mins until 3.30pm.
- Duration: about 10–15 minutes.
