Internal funding scheme for academic returners
During 2017-18 the University launched the Returners Support Programme to support academic teaching or research staff to return to work following aperiod of leave for caring responsibilities. Funding of up to £10K can be used to cover the cost of a variety of activities including:
- Short-term technical or teaching support
- Attending conferences
However, the level of support required will be unique to the individual, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis.
