The payment options for Managed Partnership accommodation are different to those for University-Managed.
Payment options 2022-23
All rent payments will be paid direct to your accommodation provider and not the University. Details of payment options available is detailed below for each Managed-Partnership scheme.
You can pay your accommodation fees in full or choose to pay in three instalments. No deposit is required. First payment will be due after you receive your maintenance loan; we will confirm the payment schedule soon.
All Students are also required to provide a guarantor who must be over 25 years old. Your guarantor is someone who promises to take care of your rent payments if you're unable to.
If you're an international student, you don't have to name a guarantor, but your payment options might be limited to payment in full. We have this system in place to protect us in the unlikely event that you don't keep up with your payments or cause any damage. Your guarantor will be emailed a document to sign and return. Make sure you have the permission of your guarantor before you sign them up for this.
