Staff and Visitors

We'll find you somewhere to stay.

Exterior of Windsor Terrace

We will be working alongside Government Guidelines on any Covid-19 accommodation restrictions

New staff

If you are relocating to Newcastle to work at the University you might need a base until you find something more permanent. We can help you find accommodation with us until you find your feet.

If you are visiting the University, a relative who's studying or working with us, or want to explore Newcastle and the surrounding area, we can offer accommodation for you.

We have fully-serviced short-stay accommodation which is available for up to 28 nights.

Things to consider

We can't accommodate children within our staff and visitor accommodation. All guests must be 18 or over. We advise guests who are looking for accommodation for their family to look in the private sector.

Please note that some of our accommodation is situated amongst student accommodation and guests may experience a certain level of noise especially during Freshers Week.  Please check the Location Tab on the accommodation of your choice for further details.

We do consider enquiries from students.

Priority is given to University employees.

We can only offer bookings for students if there are vacancies. This cannot be confirmed until 14 days before the planned day of arrival.

Non-University Staff

We are able to offer short-stay accommodation up to 28 nights to Non-University Staff. This is located at Carlton Lodge or Castle Leazes Guest Rooms.

Internet Connection

University employees can connect to the internet through a University network log-in.

Guests can obtain a free WiFi voucher from the Customer Services Reception at the accommodation.

Access to some websites and services may be restricted.
